Terms & Conditions

The terms on which Dress Code Prom sells to you — how an order is placed, how and when payment is taken, and what each of us is responsible for.

Last updated 21 October 2026

1About us and these terms

This website is operated by MASE HOLDINGS LTD, trading as Dress Code Prom, a company registered in England and Wales under number 13447852, registered office 7 Northfield Road, London, England, E6 2AJ, showroom at 57 Nags Head Lane, Brentwood, Essex, CM14 5NL, United Kingdom. You can reach us at dresscodeprom@gmail.com, on 07537 999111, or on WhatsApp at 07537 999111.

These terms apply to every order you place with us through this website. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you accept them. Nothing in these terms reduces your legal rights as a consumer.

2How payment works

You pay when you place your order. The full amount is taken from your card at that moment — it is a single payment, not a hold, and you should expect to see it leave your account rather than sit as pending.

  • When you place an order, your card is charged the order total.
  • The dress is removed from our available stock at the same moment and reserved for you, and where the one-dress-per-school register applies, it is claimed against your school then.
  • We email you a receipt straight away. If you do not receive one, contact us — the payment may still have succeeded.
  • If your card is declined, no money is taken and the dress stays available for others to buy.

Bought online? You can cancel within 14 days of the day after your dress arrives, without giving a reason, and get your money back. The exception is a dress customised or adjusted to your request before we send it: it is made to your specification, and cannot be cancelled. How to cancel, what we refund and how to send the dress back are in our Returns & Cancellations policy. A dress bought in person in the showroom does not carry this right either — see the same policy.

3When a contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. It does not create a contract by itself, and neither does the email acknowledging that we have received it.

A contract comes into existence when we accept your order, which we do by emailing you a receipt. We may decline an order before that point — for example if the dress has just been sold in the showroom, if a price was listed in error, or if we cannot verify the payment. If we decline after your card has been charged, we refund you in full.

4The dresses

  • Every dress passes our own quality check before it is sent to you.
  • Colours can look different on a screen than in daylight, and beading, sequins and embellishment can vary slightly from one dress to the next. Variation of that kind is not a fault.
  • Your right to cancel and return is set out in our Returns & Cancellations policy.

5Prices and currency

The price shown is the price you pay. MASE HOLDINGS LTD is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to it. Delivery is shown separately in your basket and is added to your total before you pay, so the amount charged is the full amount you will pay.

All our prices are in pounds sterling, and you are charged in pounds sterling.

If your card is in another currency, your card issuer may apply its own conversion or a foreign transaction fee. That is a matter between you and your bank.

We take care with pricing, but if a dress is listed at an obviously incorrect price we are not obliged to sell at that price. If that happens we will tell you, and you can buy it at the correct price or cancel and be refunded in full.

6Delivery

Delivery is free, to any address in the United Kingdom. We do not deliver outside the UK. We deliver your dress as soon as we can, and within 30 days of your order at the latest. Our Delivery policy has the detail, including what happens if we are late.

Goods become your responsibility when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.

7Your account

You may order as a guest or create an account. If you create one, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us.

If you share a wishlist board using a share link, anyone who has that link can view the board and leave a comment on it. Only share it with people you intend to see it. You can stop sharing a board at any time from your account.

8Using this website

The photographs, designs, text and layout on this site belong to us or to the people we license them from, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may look at the site and print or download pages for your own personal use. You may not copy our imagery or product descriptions for commercial purposes, or scrape the catalogue, without our written permission.

You must not misuse the site — for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access to it, introducing malicious code, or placing fraudulent orders.

9Our responsibility to you

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

We never exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for any breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods, or for anything else the law does not permit us to exclude.

We supply goods for domestic and private use. If you use them for any commercial purpose we have no liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

We are not responsible for delays outside our control, such as extreme weather, carrier failure, industrial action or the disruption of a supplier's operations. If such a delay occurs we will contact you as soon as we can and you may cancel the affected order and receive a refund of anything you have paid for goods not delivered.

10Complaints and disputes

If something has gone wrong, please tell us first — email dresscodeprom@gmail.com or call 07537 999111 and we will try to resolve it. We aim to acknowledge a complaint within 3 working days and to resolve it within 28 days.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own country's courts.
